  • I'm so glad you posted the Mayapple. I have always wondered what it looked like. Apparently this is the blossom, does it get a fruit later? I love yout maple leaves too.
    Yes I love Macro and Super Macro too. I remember my first camera and those I have owned between then and now the digital. Photography has certainly progressed. I love it!

    Mountain Mama, that olive-shaped pistil grows to about a walnut-sized green fruit -- hence the name "mayapple" (although here it's a June-apple :-) ).
