LOL, Sorry, guys! Here's what happens: Buzz throws the "boing!" pitch which bounces back (or, as says the announcer, he pulls it back) before the other team's big Slugger can get a hold of it. "Steeeeeerike!" is called, and the game is saved.
I just wondered if I was making too much out of a silly cartoon by taking a "sticky trick" too seriously :-) It's just that I could see kids like mine (who play Little League baseball) reading that cartoon and getting the idea that good sportsmanship doesn't matter, and that the end justifies the means, ya know?
